Additional Content - Sessions

All the assets featured on this page require dependencies which are only found in the PLL route package. If you do not have the package, you will have missing dependencies if you try to install these.

Additional sessions for the 'Lite' Route version

Deep Pit Circle (DRIVE)

As the session title suggests, you will be completing a circuit from Longport Junction, via Tunstall to Deep Pit sidings, on to Etruria Yard and back to Longport Junction. The session will take you over 90 minutes to complete.

This session demonstrates the usage of a new rule called "Shunt Sequencer" along with a 'Route Selector' track mark asset and a 'Set Waypoint' command.

Instructions in the session will step you through the process of not only completing the sessions but also in using the new rule.

A Loop Line Local Passes

An alternative view of the Loop Line Locals session. The viewer takes the positions of a series of bystanders who observe the progress of the local train on its journey from Stoke to Kidsgrove.

Deep Pit Circle (DRIVE)

This is a version of the Deep Pit Circle (Drive) session for use on the 'Full' version of the route.

You will need to also download the 'Lite' version of this session listed in the section above in order to get the required dependencies.

Shelton Bar Operations - (Updated 15/11/2015 13:00 GMT)

This session utilises the Shedmaster rule to illustrate the range of railway activities necessary to keep Shelton Iron and Steel operating. It covers not only the tasks performed by the locomotives of the private railway, but also the complementary arrivals and departures of LMS trains to and from the exchange sidings at Etruria and Grange Junction, and Stoke MPD. The bustle of train movements are not orchestrated by a timetable. Rather the demands of the works are collected by Shedmaster and railway resources are managed dynamically to meet those demands.
